Caryl is the owner of Butterfly Home and Pet Sitters and has 'sat' literally across the world.  From Asia to Europe to Africa and the Caribbean.  She began her house sitting journey after hearing about this lifestyle when on a trip to the southern most tip of India in Kanyakumari and has never looked back. Caryl has looked after numerous dogs and cats - old, young, disabled and unwell, street/rescued - chickens, sheep and goats, and did a stint as a caretaker at a safari farm lodge in Kenya, with all else in between. Many valued customers are those who choose to have Caryl sit again and again, with many wonderful reviews. Caryl will keep you up-to-date with life at home while you are away so you can relax and enjoy your own vacation.

Caryl had a long career in human resources, social care, before re-qualifying as an Adult Teacher and teaching in prisons on an innovative charity peer project. She had to be fully cleared for this work and completely trusted as you would expect. Having been 'sitting' since 2018 and having her own pets throughout her earlier life, Caryl now considers herself to be a professional house and pet sitter.
